Be Found Faithful

Be Found Faithful

With every bit of his strength, the enemy of our soul is fighting.

He is fighting those who seek to be faithful to God. It is this war on our faithfulness that we have to be careful of.

The deception is strong in the present moment. You can see what the Bible calls, “the great falling away” happening before your eyes.

Believers who would have never walked away from their faith in Jesus are simply turning their backs on all they have believed through the years.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not always a full on reversal of belief, though sometimes it is, rather, most of the time the enemy simply tricks believers into “cooling off” in their relationship with God.

In other words, just a little unfaithfulness.

The devil wants us to think…
“Don’t be quite as faithful to church as you used to be.”
“Don’t be quite as hard on your stance for holiness and godliness.”
“Allow yourself to accept more of the world’s ideas and cultures cravings.”

There are believers who are accepting all sorts of ideas as completely fine, even though scripture is adamant that the ideas are wrong.

Here’s the deal…
Sin is still sin.

Just because many people embrace an idea, doesn’t make the idea right with the Lord!

Even if all the world embraces an idea, if God calls the idea “sin” then it is sin.

The road on which we walk is a narrow one and it won’t make room for every idea and belief that culture wants to embrace.

So what do we do if people view us as antiquated because we take a stand for being faithful to Jesus?

WE STAY FAITHFUL ANYWAY!

The people of God will not be judged by culture, but by Jesus. It is Jesus we must please.

Very soon, Jesus is returning for his church. I fear that many will be caught off guard.
In this moment, let’s begin putting our full effort into being found faithful.

James 1:12 NKJV
[12] Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

Revelation 2:10 NKJV
[10] …Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
