Proverbs 10:24 NKJV[24] The fear of the wicked will come upon him, And the desire of the righteous will be granted.
I love the second half of this verse! The DESIRE of the RIGHTEOUS will be granted! The Lord has your desire wrapped up as a gift to place in your hands.
If you have given your life to Jesus and allowed the blood of the covenant to wash away your sin, you have become righteous with HIS righteousness!
What it means for us is that the Lord begins a process of changing our desires into something that pleases him and grows according to his will.
He works into us those things that are already Well PLEASING in his sight…so that we can be sure our desires ARE lined up with his will.
His desires are so much better than anything we could ever ask or think.
Through Jesus, fear is gone and so is the fruit of fear. The fruit of fear is destruction, but the fruit of righteousness is desires granted!
Here’s my prayer for you:
“Lord begin to change our ways to your ways. Help us to put you first and desire YOU more than anything. Lord, allow your presence to be the greatest desire of our life, understanding that your presence brings fruit in ALL areas of our life! In Jesus name we pray…amen!”
