You want to be a warrior?
You want to see the nation turn around?

If the answer is YES, then certainly we must get involved in the culture, go to the meetings, be part of the change, RISE UP…BUT, there is ALSO a remnant of people that runs concurrently to those who are rising up in the arenas of government, local and national…and this remnant is RISING UP in prayer to intercede, seek the face of God, be the spiritual shields and guards of those who are doing the practical things that bring change!

The remnant is the spiritual force behind the change.

The devil will try to cheat you by telling you that your praying doesn’t matter. Satan will tell you that your prayers don’t make a difference, but that could not be further from the truth!
YOUR PRAYER ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!

You are accomplishing vastly more than you could ever know, every single time you give God control, and allow him to move through you in praying, interceding, and standing in the gap.

God is SEEKING people to stand in the gap!

I want to read a passage of scripture that was, without a doubt, written to the nation of Israel, but it also mirrors what we see going on in our present day culture.

Ezekiel 22:23-30 NKJV
[23] And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, [24] “Son of man, say to her: ‘You are a land that is not cleansed or rained on in the day of indignation.’ [25] The conspiracy of her prophets in her midst is like a roaring lion tearing the prey; they have devoured people; they have taken treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in her midst. [26] Her priests have violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them. [27] Her princes in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, to shed blood, to destroy people, and to get dishonest gain. [28] Her prophets plastered them with untempered mortar, seeing false visions, and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD,’ when the LORD had not spoken. [29] The people of the land have used oppressions, committed robbery, and mistreated the poor and needy; and they wrongfully oppress the stranger. [30] So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.

Let me emphasize this again…
God is looking for someone to stand in the gap for the land!

Can I tell you who that is supposed to be at this moment in history? It is supposed to be the CHURCH!
We are the body of Jesus Christ. We are the hands and feet. We are the ones who are linked in and connected to Jesus.

If anyone on earth should be hearing God’s voice RIGHT NOW at the present moment, it is the church, the people of God. We ought to know the mind of God, because scripture declares the we ALREADY HAVE the mind of Christ.

The church MUST RISE UP in our prayers and defend those God is sending out.
The church must rise up and seek the face of God for people who are launching out into their destiny.

If we won’t defend the plans of God through our prayers, who will?
God works with people.

It is his choice.
The Lord does not work alone, but calls out on the people of God to obey.

For remnant prayer warriors, the command is simple: OBEY AND PRAY.

Listen for the Holy Spirit’s call to prayer, and then GO PRAY.
You never really know who or what your prayers could be affecting in the moment.

So your obedience to God’s prayer call is so important.

The Lord is calling people to get involved in all arenas of the public sphere right now. They are the ones who put the boots on the ground, and step into hostile places and take massive stands for what is right, true, and holy.

BUT GOD IS ALSO RAISING UP A REMNANT WARRIOR PRAYER FORCE!

Not that those getting involved in the arenas of the public sphere aren’t spiritual change agents, because they ARE.
But we of the remnant prayer warriors are also in the trenches, alongside our brothers and sisters, fighting demonic princes and hosts of wickedness in the heavenly realm.

Where one group has an assignment in one area, remnant prayer warriors have assignments to bring heaven to earth THROUGH our prayers.

Because of your prayers, God is softening the hearts of those he is about to call into government positions, both local, state, and national.
Because of your prayers, people will be emboldened to take stands in education, and on their jobs.

They may never know that you are praying for them, and honestly, as you pray in the Holy Spirit, you may not know the extent of what your prayers are accomplishing, but don’t misunderstand, God is directing your prayers into vital places at the moment.
The Lord needs prayer warriors who will be attentive to his call.

The church must rise up!

Isaiah 56:7 NKJV
[7] Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices Will be accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

The remnant prayer warriors MUST ALSO RISE UP!

Don’t view your prayers so insignificantly!

Some of your prayers are breaking down barriers set up by demonic princes, so that government leaders who love the Lord can make stands and set principles in place that will run contrary to the demonic agenda of the godless.

Our prayers are bringing the future into existence and shaping a new mandate for culture and for the earth. Your prayers are setting the stage for what God will do in your community, your city, your state, your nation, and in the earth.

The Lord himself is directing the prayers of the saints that he has called to prayer and your prayers are affecting nations!

Your family and your nation both have the possibility of awakening to the things of God because you are moving plans forward in the spiritual realm.
