Heavenly Father just wants to spend time with you
So many times it's like we're trying to produce something through our prayers. We're trying to get before God and pray as hard as we can, pray in the Spirit as hard as we can, trying to have as much faith as we can. And I'm not saying any of those things are wrong. Absolutely pray in the Spirit and seek the face of God with fervency. But understand, God is good. His nature is good. He is the Heavenly Father. The Bible says He is Abba, Abba Father. We call out on Him because He loves us. And so all of our prayer and all of our effort doesn't produce, but simply coming into His presence and allowing God to change us from the inside out. See, He just wants to spend time with you. He just wants to be a good Heavenly Father to you. And as you come into His presence, He'll accept you, He'll put you in the beloved, and He'll shower you with His favor, grace, and love.
